How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate, secure, and improve OFFERGOBLIN, including to authenticate users, personalize onboarding and product flows, manage subscriptions and billing, send operational and newsletter emails, measure usage and conversions, prevent abuse, and understand how users interact with the product. We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or third parties for their own marketing.

Google Sign-In

If you sign in with Google, we receive basic account information needed to authenticate you, such as your name, email address, and profile image. We use that information to create and maintain your account and session. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or other Google content.

Cookies and Analytics

We use first-party cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember session state, track onboarding and product usage, attribute visits to campaigns or referrals, and store limited read-state preferences. We also use analytics and performance tools, including internal event tracking, Microsoft Clarity, Vercel Analytics, and Vercel Speed Insights, to understand traffic, product behavior, and site performance.

Billing and Payments

We use Stripe to power checkout, subscription management, and customer billing portal flows. We may store Stripe-related metadata such as customer IDs, subscription IDs, subscription tier, status, and billing period dates. Payment card details are handled by Stripe, not stored directly by OFFERGOBLIN.

Email and Recruiting Outcome Data

If you subscribe to our emails or create an account, we may store your email address and related contact properties through Resend to deliver newsletters, welcome emails, product updates, and audience segmentation. If you submit recruiting outcome information, we may store details such as offer status, banks, notes, ratings, testimonials, and whether a submission should be treated as private.

Third-Party Services

We use service providers that process information on our behalf, including Supabase (database, authentication, and hosting-related infrastructure), Stripe (billing), Google (authentication), Resend (email delivery and contact management), Microsoft Clarity (behavior analytics), and Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights (analytics and performance monitoring). Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain accounts, provide subscriptions, send requested emails, enforce our terms, and resolve disputes. Some technical and security data, such as pre-auth rate-limit request records, may be kept only for a short period. We may also retain limited information as required for legitimate business, security, tax, accounting, or legal reasons.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls, secure infrastructure, and encrypted transport where appropriate. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
