Terms of Service

OFFERGOBLIN is operated by FORMWRK STUDIO LLC ("OFFERGOBLIN", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of offergoblin.com and everything on it: the question bank, practice modes, guides, free calculators, and any paid subscription.

By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the service.

These terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes what we collect and how we handle it. If you take part in the Referral Program, the Referral Program Terms govern that separately and control over these terms wherever the two differ on referral matters.

You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account on your own. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of it. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.

You may hold one account. Accounts are personal to you: do not share your login, and do not let anyone else practice on your account. We size the free plan and the subscription around one person using them.

Accounts are created through Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping access to that Google account secure and for everything that happens under yours. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access.

Keep the information you give us accurate. Onboarding answers shape what the platform serves you, so wrong information mostly costs you a worse experience, but we may suspend an account whose details are deliberately false.

You can request deletion of your account and data as described in the Privacy Policy.

The free plan gives you the full GOBLIN100 with no daily limit, plus 5 GOBLINMODE questions a day, with your map from the first question. No card is required.

Accelerated costs $39.99 per month, or $149.99 for a Season Pass: one payment for 12 months of Accelerated that does not renew. Either way it raises the limit to 80 questions a day and opens the bank, round, and topic filters. The free plan is not a timed trial and does not expire.

We sometimes run promotional offers, including the discount a referral code gives on a first payment. Any such offer is described where it is made, applies only to the account it is granted to, is not transferable, is limited to once per person, and can be withdrawn or changed at any time for offers not yet redeemed. Where an offer's own terms differ from this section, the offer's terms govern for as long as it lasts.

We build on the service continuously. Features, question counts, practice modes, limits, and content will change over time. We may add, alter, or retire parts of the service, and we will not remove something central to a paid subscription without telling subscribers first.

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party outages, and faults happen.

Accelerated is billed in advance through Stripe, our payment processor, either as a monthly subscription or as a Season Pass. We do not receive or store your full card details.

A monthly subscription renews automatically each month on the anniversary of the day you subscribed, and your payment method is charged the then-current price until you cancel. By subscribing you authorise those recurring charges.

A Season Pass is a single payment for 12 months of Accelerated. It does not renew: when the 12 months end, your account moves to the free plan and nothing further is charged unless you buy again.

If a payment fails, Stripe may retry it. Access to paid features may be suspended while a payment is outstanding, and a subscription that stays unpaid may be cancelled.

We may change the price of a subscription. Any change takes effect at your next renewal, never mid-period, and we will tell you before it applies so you can cancel first if you would rather not continue. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply where you are.

You can cancel at any time, yourself, without contacting us: open the account menu in the app and choose Manage Subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep paid access for the rest of the period you have already paid for, and then move to the free plan.

Payments are for the billing period they cover and are otherwise non-refundable, including for partial months and for periods you did not use. A Season Pass is refundable in full if you ask within 7 days of buying it; after that it is non-refundable, including for the months you did not use. Nothing here limits any refund right you have under the law where you live.

If something has gone wrong — you were charged after cancelling, charged twice, or the service was not usable — write to support@offergoblin.com. We would rather fix it than argue about it.

Deleting your account does not by itself cancel a subscription. Cancel the subscription first.

The question bank and the written answers are the product. You may use them to prepare for your own interviews. You may not resell, republish, redistribute, or share them, in whole or in substantial part, and you may not use them to build or train a competing product or question bank.

Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract content from the authenticated parts of the service, and do not use scripts or automated tools to pull questions or answers at scale. Public pages are governed by the licensing terms below instead.

Do not share your account, resell access, circumvent the daily limits or the paid-feature gates, probe or interfere with the security of the service, or upload anything unlawful or malicious.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these rules, and we may do so immediately where the breach is serious.

You can send us interview questions you were asked, feedback, recruiting outcomes, and testimonials. You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, edit, and publish it as part of the service — including in the question bank, in marketing, and in aggregate statistics.

Only send interview questions you are free to share. Do not submit anything covered by a confidentiality agreement or an NDA with a bank or an employer. You are responsible for that call, not us.

Submitted questions are reviewed, may be rewritten or merged with existing ones, and may be published without your name attached.

Some practice cards let you answer out loud. Spoken answers are optional. Nothing is recorded until you press the record control on a card, and your browser asks for microphone permission before the first recording. By pressing the record control you agree to this section.

When you record an answer, the recording is sent to a speech-to-text provider (currently Deepgram) to produce a written transcript, and the transcript is sent to an AI provider (currently Anthropic) to be graded against the question's answer key. Each provider receives your answer only to process it and does not use it for its own purposes. The grade is automated: it is a study aid, not an assessment by a person, and it can be wrong. The written answer on the card is the reference, and nothing about a grade is a promise of any recruiting outcome.

The recording, its transcript, and its grade are stored with your practice history for as long as your account exists, or until you delete them from the Privacy section of your account page. Deleting your account deletes them too.

You keep ownership of your recordings. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use recordings and transcripts internally to improve the service: to test, tune, and train the systems that transcribe and grade spoken answers, to evaluate their accuracy, and to build the answer keys and study material they rely on. Before we use a recording or a transcript for any of that, we remove your name, your email address, and any other information that identifies you, and we do not attempt to re-identify you afterwards. We do not publish individual recordings or transcripts, we do not sell them, and we do not give them to anyone else for their own purposes. The aim is better transcription and grading for everyone, not a record of who said what.

Record only your own voice. Do not record anyone else, and do not say anything in a spoken answer that you are not free to share, such as material covered by a confidentiality agreement with a bank or an employer. You are responsible for what you record.

Spoken answers are metered separately from written questions, because each one costs us to transcribe and grade. At present the free plan includes 3 spoken answers for the life of the account, Accelerated and the Season Pass include 30 a day, and a single recording is capped at 5 minutes. The allowance you have left is shown on the card's format menu. These allowances may change as described under The Service. Using scripts or other means to exceed them, or recording anything other than practice answers, breaches the Acceptable Use section, and we may withdraw spoken answers from an account that abuses them.

The question bank, written answers, guides, calculators, software, design, and the OFFERGOBLIN name and marks are ours or our licensors'. Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them for your own interview preparation. That licence ends when your account does.

Public pages carry a separate machine-readable licence at /rsl.xml, which grants automated crawlers and indexing services open access to the public content at no cost. That grant covers the public pages only. It is not permission for a person or a company to lift the question bank into a competing product, and it does not extend to anything behind sign-in.

This is the important one. OFFERGOBLIN is preparation material. Using it does not guarantee that you will get an interview, pass one, or receive an offer, and nothing on the site is a promise of any recruiting outcome. Hiring decisions are made by banks, on their criteria, and we have no part in them.

The content is educational. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax, or career advice, and it does not create any professional or advisory relationship between us.

We work to keep the question bank accurate and current, but interviews change, banks differ, and we do not warrant that any particular question will be asked or that any answer will suit every interviewer.

OFFERGOBLIN is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any bank or employer named on the site. Bank names appear to describe where a question came from.

The service runs on third parties, including Google for sign-in, Stripe for payments, Supabase for data, Deepgram and Anthropic for spoken answers, and email delivery providers. Your use of those is subject to their own terms, and their availability is outside our control. The Privacy Policy names them and explains what each one handles.

You can stop using the service at any time, cancel a subscription from the account menu, and request deletion of your account.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we terminate a paid account for a reason other than your breach, we will refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.

Terminating an account ends your licence to our content. The sections on what you submit, our content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

The service is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any defect will be corrected.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, or any recruiting outcome, arising out of or connected with your use of the service — whether or not we were told such damages were possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OFFERGOBLIN and its officers, members, and contractors from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your breach of these terms, or anything you submit — including a claim that something you submitted breached a confidentiality obligation or someone else's rights.

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will give notice through the service or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, cancel your subscription and stop using the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You and FORMWRK STUDIO LLC agree that the state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these terms or the service, and each of us consents to personal jurisdiction there.

Before filing anything, write to support@offergoblin.com and give us thirty days to sort it out. Most problems are a billing mistake and take an afternoon to fix.

Any claim must be brought individually. You and we each waive any right to bring a claim as a plaintiff or class member in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a term on one occasion is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and — where they apply — the Referral Program Terms, are the entire agreement between us about the service.
