Wall Street Oasis Review (2026): WSO and WSO Academy vs OFFERGOBLIN

The WSO forum is free and irreplaceable. WSO Academy is application-gated with an unpublished price. OFFERGOBLIN is neither. Coaching, community and drilling are three different purchases.

The short version

The WSO forum is free and it is a genuine public good. Two decades of compensation threads, recruiting timelines, group reputations and unvarnished opinion, most of it from people who actually did the job. Anyone recruiting into banking should be reading it. Nothing on this page argues otherwise, and OFFERGOBLIN's founder posts there.

WSO Academy is the paid product and a different proposition entirely. It is application-gated, its price is quoted on a call rather than published, and third-party reviews put it in the $6,000 to $9,000 range. Individual mentors are separately available, reported at roughly $139 to $149 an hour or $57 to $997 per package.

OFFERGOBLIN is $39.99 a month, or free at 5 questions a day, and holds 3,500+ interview questions candidates reported after real rounds, tagged by firm and round, each with a structured written answer.

These are not the same purchase and they do not compete for the same decision.
