The four practice modes

GOBLINMODE

The adaptive default. The engine pulls the next card by weight. Two things set the weight: curriculum phase and how the candidate last graded the card. Cards in the active phase are weighted 100x over cards in review, and 5x for an unlocked future phase. Within a tag, a question not yet seen is weighted 50x, one marked Don't Know is 20x, one skipped is 5x, and one marked Know is 1x. It is a weighted database query, applied the same way to every candidate. The topics a candidate dodges are the ones that show up the most. Available on both Free and Accelerated tiers.
